New Product Spotlight - Ameda ComfortGel Hydrogel Pads

ameda comfort gels hydrogel padsSitting in our spotlight this month, we are happy to announce Babiesandmoms.com has become Ameda's Northern California Reseller for their New ComfortGel Hydrogel Pads.  These truly revolutionary gel pads provide instant nipple pain relief for mothers who may be experiencing nipple pain or trauma associated with breastfeeding.

Ameda ComfortGel Hydrogel pads also provide a moist healing environment and help absorb leakage to keep skin healthy and to help the nipple area remain dry between feedings.  With a low profile and contoured design, the hydrogel pads fit discreetly under a nursing bra.

The pads are washable and may be used for up to six days, providing significant cost savings when compared to similar products.  Though the ComfortGels are similar to Smoothies™, they are hydrogels and not made of glycerine like Smoothies.  They can be refrigerated for cooling comfort and are hand-washable.  The Ameda ComfortGels do not stick to your nipples or breasts and do not fall apart.

Moms who have used the ComfortGels have said they have had a quicker recovery than when they used other products in the past with their previous births.

'Having healthy skin and no pain from cracked and damaged nipples has made my breastfeeding experience this time around much more positive.  I think I'll be able to breastfeed much longer with my baby this time.'   - P. Stone, Palo Alto, CA

Representatives at Ameda are very excited about the release of this product.  They're looking forward to an extremely positive response from Moms.  The response from the Mommies who have already tried this product is impressive.  Nipple pain is one of the things many Mothers experience when breastfeeding.  It is often the deciding factor causing Moms to quit breastfeeding early or altogether before they really get started.  Being able to alleviate the pain that is often associated with breastfeeding allows the Mother and her baby to enjoy the breastfeeding experience together and for Mom to continue to give all the benefits of breastfeeding to baby.
