Newborn Breastfeeding Support Group
Date: Every Tuesday ~
11am-1pm
Where: Mills Health Center

Saidy Conference Room (Lower Level)
The purpose of the support group is to provide
an open forum in an informal format to ask questions and have them answered by an
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with 15+ years experience, share
stories, and network with other Moms.
Conversations are angled towards breastfeeding
babies from 0-5 months old. Of course, babies of all ages are welcome.
The typical audience for this support group are Babies and their Moms and Dads who have
questions and are looking for support.
The group is facilitated by the IBCLC.
No registration is necessary. Drop-ins are welcome and you may come and go as your schedule
permits.
Juice is provided and a baby scale will be
available at every group.
Cost: None. A $5 donation is suggested, and
appreciated, for Mills Peninsula Health Services.

The purpose of the support group is designed to help support Moms in their transition back to
work outside the home, continuing to breastfeed while working, and to help balance
motherhood and a job outside the workplace.
The group is held as an open forum in an informal format.
Moms can ask questions and have them answered by an International Board
Certified Lactation Consultant with 15+ years experience, share stories, and network with
other Moms.
Conversations are for concerns with babies of all ages.
Babies of all ages are welcome. The typical audience for this support group are
Babies and their Moms. Participants often bring their dinners so feel free to eat during the
group. Tables and chairs are available for this purpose or you can spread a blanket on the
floor.
The group is facilitated by the IBCLC. No registration is necessary.
Drop-ins are welcome and you may come and go as your schedule permits.
Juice is provided and a baby scale will be available at every group.
Cost: Mandatory $5 fee due upon arrival to the
group.

Breastfeeding
Moms Walking Support Group
Date: Every
Wednesday (except the 1st Wednesday of each month)
Starting at 11:00am until Moms are done walking
Where: Crystal Springs Entrance
(off
of Black Mountain Road in Burlingame)
Bring
walking wear and a stroller/bjorn. It can get cool on the
trail. The group usually walks about 2 miles out and back,
but you can make your own pace and how long you want to
walk. The purpose of the support group is to have leisurely
walks for exercise, to increase health, and is a great chance to socialize, assist in
forming play groups, and provide peer support with other moms. There
are stops along the way for nursing and changing the babies.
Cost: None.

1st Wednesday of each month
Starting at 11:00am until Moms are done walking
Where: San Francisco Zoo Entrance*
Did you know on the first Wednesday of each
month, entrance to the San Francisco Zoo is free? The
group meets at the entrance and takes leisurely walks for
exercise throughout the zoo. Come join us for a terrific
day. Get healthier, socialize, assist in forming play
groups, and provide peer support with other moms. Bring
walking wear and a stroller/bjorn. There are stops for
nursing and changing the babies.
Cost: None.
